Really nice place . They just renovated the restaurant. We ate there and it was so new they haven't officially launched it. Food was good. Restaurant looks really nice too . Reception said they were recently sold to a london hotel change and they are doing upgrades to their spa lobby and then rooms.Would like to stay here next time I'm in town.
Went here for our works Christmas party. Lots of people crammed in. Not a cheap meal 45 per head. Food was cold and cheap. Drinks were very expensive. Would have expected better quality food from here. Wouldn't go again.
I used to stay at the Bedford Swan Hotel when visiting Millbrook Proving Ground. The hotel is very comfortable, you smell the history of the building in any detail. The rooms are excellent and the food is very good. The hotel is in a nice position, nearby the River and close to attractive and historical places of the city.
Second visit to this lovely old hotel. 3 day stay to celebrate New Year. 6 in our party. Had a lovely break and staff were excellent without exemption. Definately stay here again and highly recommend it. In such a lovely position on the river.
Great hotel that is full of character. We went economy but got a spacious and very comfortable room. The team that served us in all department could not be faulted,brilliant and very focused on delivering excellent customer service. Very good location for Bedford centre, the River and it views. An array of restaurants nearby.A couple of not so good bits. Parking is tight but I believe this is being addressed. Value for money in the restaurant could be better. Very small portions for a pretty high price! However, the hotel is going through a refurb so it might explain the few down bits.
