Blood stains on pillow & generally not a good standard of cleanliness! Staff were ok, but they should not have allowed a blood stained pillow to be in our room, if it hadn't been Christmas eve we definitely would have left & gone somewhere else! Kettle & cups provided in room were very grimey & bathroom was not clean!Beds were uncomfortable (made worse by feeling that bed linen was unclean, despite being changed!)
Good service and decent enough place to rest your head for the night.
Pretty standard Travelodge. You know what you're going to get! Large car park, so no problem parking, just make sure you register your car at reception to avoid parking fines. No bar or restaurant on the premises, but these are all available within a few minutes' drive. Sainsbury's and Aldi at the bottom of the hill if you prefer.
Clean and cheap, the staff where polite. Free parking, nice view from the window over looking Bedford, the what more do you want.
Stayed here a few times now, pretty basic but nice. Close to the town and easy to get taxi's. Rooms are quiet big, including a TV and draws, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. Location is good and quiet of a night. Rooms are spacious as well, with a mirror and dressing table. Exactly what you would expect for the price you pay.
