Fine budget rooms available sometimes, but falling to bits. Needs a lick of paint, some new furniture and modern appliances. Good central Bedford location with reasonable access to the station.
Go every year for our works xmas party. Was great every time. Recommend. The room's are tidy and clean. Beds are comfortable. Don't judge it by its outside appearance.
We went there for our Christmas do. We had 3 tables out of about 40. I was surprised that the food quality was good. The food service was good. The disco was great. The only thing that let things down was the long (very long) queues at the bar. It really needs to be two or three times larger.
Stayed again through work, and found it to be as expected. Reception welcoming and helpful, getting me booked in quickly. Room over looked river, decent size for single room, bed comfy. Breakfast hot and filling, needing extra liquids after a late night:-). Staff helpful as always
Great location... I enjoyed the seating outside by the bridge where I could enjoy the relaxing view with the swans and ducks. Nice car park at the back with an easy an accessible entrance.I would recommend the bar to have a better selection of drinks. I dont know why it is so difficult to find fresh juices.
