On 22 January I was admitted to Tavistock Ward for an operation under Mr Garde. The treatment I received from him together with Operating team was superb. Before and on the ward Becca, Dayanna, Lindasey Joy and student nurse Childi was superb. They really looked after me extremely well cups of tea, sandwich and lots of laughs. I absolutely love this Hospital.
So disappointed by the care, attention, respect and overall experince today at this hospital. Was admitted at 5pm after an ambulance had to be called to my work as I had severe chest pains.Ive finally left over 6 hours later with NO results. At one point I was seated in a waiting room for 2 hours, where I was genuinely forgotten about and removed from their system as they had gone to look for me in a different room.... the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because the gentleman who took my blood was AMAZING. A genuine credit to A&E and their only saving grace today. I understand how busy hospitals get and how stretched staffing and time can be, to which I sympathise but to be put in a room in agony and wait patiently as to not cause a fuss only to be forgotten and removed from the system is appalling, and with no apology or concern.I sincerely hope nobody else has this awful experince, especially someone in a worse condition than myself.
I went after a referral from 111 for an eye issue. Amazingly prompt treatment. The doctor I saw was amazing and after applying the antibiotoc eye stuff he prescribed. I was feeling better within 4 hours. I thought it was viral, but obviously it was not. Nhs is great, we so need to support this. Thank you!!!!
Amazing new UTC dept at hospital, felt like I wasn't waiting at all to be seen. Had a minor injury was dealt with efficiently & staff were amazing! Really felt proud that we have a NHS that works so well.
I was taken to Bedford hospital A&E by Ambulance on 16th October and was discharged on 18th October. Although my stay there was brief, I was looked after very well by ALL the staff from the Ambulance team that took me to the hospital to all the nurses and doctors in A&E and the other wards, including the staff that look after your other needs while you stay there. I have no complaints at all and would rate the service 5 star!Thank you all very much.
