Good store, it is a shame that it is earmarked for closure. Not everyone can get to MK or wants to be bothered with ordering online and the hassle of return when it doesn't fit. As for foodhall at interchange might as well be MK for some people it would mean 2 bus journeys and a long walk as there is no bus service to the interchange. Come on M&S keep Bedford open!??!
Good material and long lasting too. They have stylish wears for all ages. Their kids wear is lovely

Today we did a bit of shopping in M&S, which was OK, and went to the cafe for lunch. We saw what was on offer, and walked out again. Breakfast. Sandwiches, soup, baked potatoes. That's it. Salmon and new potatoes would have been nice: so would chicken and chips. No veggies or salad. So we went to a proper restaurant and had proper food. We won't be back till they reintroduce a decent menu.
The shop looks very tired.. still has the old bomb door cieling lighting from the 50s 60s.. clothing selection is limited.. couldn't comment on the food hall as didn't go there.. good that it's still there though.. so many other shops are not as lucky in Bedford.
