Been trying to get through to the service desk for the last 40 minutes. Phone call just gets bounced around the site and I've spoken to around ten people, nobody knows anything and nobody cares. Even got put through to the service desk in Blackburn. The incompetence and lack of customer care is truly shocking.Second time my used car has had to go back for a repair since I bought it. Please do yourself a favour and avoid.
I'm sure I'm not speaking for all that work there but staff ive dealt with don't seem to know what they are doing, or just don't care. No ownership or accountability it seems. To get hold of someone on the phone is near impossible, the central phone system is woeful and the staff in the call centre seem to be as incompetent as those in the service department. My car has been with them for five months for repair and to be honest the length of time wasn't solely down to Evans Halshaw but they definitely contributed to the huge inconvenience by losing important paperwork and being so difficult to contact! We have been told repeatedly that we would get a courtesy car but the service department were never able to get us one - for five months there were no courtesy cars available?! I'm not even sure they looked to see if they had one for us. Darren, the dealer principal has ignored requests for contact to make my complaints. I could complain via the complaints procedure but I have no confidence in this company whatsoever to deal with my frustrations. One positive is that I am currently dealing with the used car department to sell my car, so I hopefully won't have to deal with these cowboys much longer, and so far so good this department seem to be doing the basics of their jobs - so fingers crossed!
Friendly staff. Lovely showroom. Just had issues with passing on information to service. We were transferred to Blackburn instead of service and previous message given two days prior was not forwarded, delaying our pick up of the cat. Service caries out well and valeting of car much appreciated.
A very professional company there work is excellent, I would take my van with out any hesitation.
The new car sales department wad so helpful. Special thanks to Shannon and her colleague. The whole experience was very positive.We were so impressed by the enthusiasm of the two young ladies were assisted us and how helpful they both were.
