Herds new restaurant/bar layout makes for a much improved atmosphere and visit. The food is always excellent and the choice of drinks is great and not always your "norm" which is good. A friend has also had a steak when we were there which was cooked well and tasty. We often have take out collection of which the standards of food never drop (only minor thing is perhaps the time suggested for collection isn't always accurate but always worth the wait)
I have been visiting Herd since it opened. The owners and all staff are nothing but welcoming and friendly; nothing is ever too much trouble. Honestly THE best burgers I have ever had. The bar is also really nice with lots of drinks on offer.
We showed up and hadn't booked a table yet they still managed to get us a table and seated within 1/2 an hour. Lovely knowledgeable and friendly staff. I'm now part of Herd"s herd
Great place, welcoming friendly always smiling management and staff, fab food. A real gem I will keep coming back to. Come and experience it yourself. It is definitely well deserved place to visit. Lamb kofte and Herd Special Burger are divine. Best burgers we had in years. Not to forget delicious chunky chips and best onion rings too.
