Visited Safari Park a few months back and really enjoyed ourselves. Driving through and seeing some animals quite close was quite surreal, we had monkeys jumping on our car and a giraffe walking straight past us at arms length! After the drive through, there is another section to explore by foot, here you have a great selection of animals, a boat ride and some places to eat. A full day of fun indeed!
The best thing about this place is you can do both a car tour or one where you walk. Theres a wide variety of animals and the caged animals where you see the lions and tigers is really cool. The monkeys if your unlucky (or lucky) depends how you see it, jump on your car so you get a real close up to the animals. Its better than a zoo as at least the animals have more freedom. Theres also a small zoo like area where there are more animals which was a surprise.
A really full day out. Whatever the weather you will find enough to really pack out a day. Great animal experiences on offer. I would say our most memorable times there have been in Summer as there are more activities on offer and the animals are generally way more active. Highly recommend it!
We loved our visit here, kids went absolutely wild when the monkeys jumped all over the cars. Beautiful and large enclosures and the animals looked very happy. Would definitely visit again in the summer!
I have been here in past, I must have been at least 5 or 6 times with different people. And I never got tired of it. All the animals are well looked after. It's a very interesting place. Well worth the money
