This must be the most highly automated and efficient cab company in Bedford. You give them the location you are in, where you are going and they send you a cab. Then you can track it on the taxi tracker link they will send you. The drivers are always polite and courteous. Then, they store the location you are in in the database so you only have to tap a few numbers on your phone to get you home! But then - If dreams are like movies, then memories are films about ghosts. You can never escape, you can only move south down the coast.
Absolutely awful. From the time we ordered a taxi, to the time we got a taxi, we could have walked home. And to make it worse, two taxi's were ordered after us to places further away, got a taxi before us. After finally getting a taxi, we got told our fare would be more than we would ever be charged, we said to our driver we would not be paying that. He then took us back to the taxi rank, and we were told the price was final. After getting back into our taxi, the taxi driver got a phone call saying that he should charge us 2 less!!! So not only were we lied to, we were also mugged off. Absolute shambles of a taxi rank and will never be using again. What a joke.
Really really great taxi firm. I've had no problems with 24/7 cars. They've always been available when I needed them. Polite drivers, I even lost my phone and they were happy to help return it to me.Edit* from 5 down to 4 stars.With any company there will always be a few staff that are rude. I should hope there aren't many rude drivers with 24/7 after my experience last night.
We booked this company online to take us from Bedford Midland Road station out to Willington. We booked 2 x 4 seater saloons. We got an email but no-one showed up, we waited 20 minutes past the time booked, had a conversation with the 01234 number on the email who knew nothing about it and was meant to check and get back to us. Never did! Luckily there was a larger taxi cab in the rank outside the station who was charming and helpful and able to take all of us and was about half the price quoted by 24/7..... don't bother booking them it's a waste of time. Only compensation is that I have checked my bank a/c and no money was taken out.
