Excellent quality outdoor track and jump pits. Centrally located stadium. However, for major championships, it doesn't have enough covered seating for spectators, and the seats that are available are small and uncomfortable! I attended an event recently where my daughter was competing and I spent hours standing in cold, windy rain which was unpleasant. My daughter thought the indoor warm-up space wasn't sufficient for such a large competition (U15/U17 champs). Also, the toilet facilities were not clean enough or in good enough condition.
A superb venue for those with a sporting mind and fit to run all day. This place has all you need to help perfect your track and field event skills. A large car park at the front and side take the stress off so no worrying about your car.
The parking was good, the staff were very efficient. The lady in the tuck shop was very pleasant. It was a nice sunny day just right for athletics. Events ran to time, officials worked well together.
