This car park is free on Saturdays, but you might have to wait a while for a space sometimes. It right next to the town centre and is only 1pound an hour on weekdays which is a fair price max stay 2 hours safe place to park as its opposite the police station.
Small and busy surface car park with only about 130 spaces for general use. This car park is located right on the edge of the central part of town, across the road from the bus station. It is only a short stay car park with 2 hours max stay before 6pm. Due to the location and size it is often full or nearly full, so plan a backup parking location if you're thinking of parking here (there is a multi-storey next to the bus station). As some other have said, some of the bays are a bit narrow.Pay attention to bay markings and signage, as some bays are for a 20 minute drop off only (on one of the sides closest to the bus station). In addition to those there are disabled and EV charging bays. The EV bays are 2x7kW and 2x50kW.

Great if you got a micro car or the person next to you is parked central in their bay. I'm only in an astra 2 door and couldn't hardly open door to get out. Yet the ticket warden was waiting to pounce. Overall shite tbh
