Very friendly volunteers. The museum has a a great range of original items in its exhibits and it is well presented. As well as learning about the Panacea Society, it gives an insight into life in the early 20th century. There is too much to learn in one visit and is well worth a repeat visit.
Another great place to visit and explore in Bedford. Art, information and helpful staff to guide you.
This is the best museum I have ever visited
Such an interesting museum and birthplace of the Panacea Society - an apocalyptic sect. Beautiful setting, coffee shop, and the museum often hosts contemporary art exhibitions.
Interesting history and sociology of life and times in the early 20th century, from a certain religious perspective. Also the house and grounds are kept in original Victorian style, also a quiet and peaceful tea shop with garden. Entry is free, a lot to see there hence, and a young family would like it probably.
