Visited the shop today to buy some Whisky for my wife , i have no idea when it come to whiskey ,i mentioned some that she already had in the cabinet ,gave them my budget and got a very nice purchase ,many thanks im in the good books and i shall be back
Thought this would be my new local wine shop, however...arrogant, over priced and unhelpful. If you want to be ignored and pushed to the back of the queue this is your place. All just a little bit rude really. Should be Zero out of 5!
Visited the shop around 12.30 today to purchase a Jack Daniels gold no. 27. Excellent collection of liquors. I had found what I was looking for. I would definitely give 5 stars but unfortunately today it has to be just 1 star. This due to the lack of customer service and inability of the staff to handle a customer situation. I was very embarrassed infornt of everyone while I was making the purchase. I was paying in cash and one of the 20 notes was a Irish one. The cashier claimed it's a Danish note. I justified by saying it said sterling on the note and I can use it. They all had a laugh and made me feel guilty as if I was trying to do something dodgy. The guys mocked I take the note to the nearest money exchange and that it is not in their knowledge that Danish money is allowed in the Uk. I wasn't offered my receipt, instead the cashier strated to speak to another customer while I was still right in front of the till. Eventually I asked for my receipt and left. Went to Tesco made a purchase using the same note. Really pathetic, just ruined my day. Will not be coming back again or recommend to any one else.
Excellent spirit collection. Mark up not too bad. Amazing place to visit. Highly recommend.
