This branch has permanently closed - and so have all the other branches. They used to provide a friendly personal service, but now Swinton is just another faceless online outfit. Pity.

Last week I telephone the number that is advertised online for Swindon insurance Bedford. It is of course a general line that got me through to Glasgow. I made an appointment to speak to someone, but no name was given to me, at the Bedford office, London Road, Bedford. At 16:00 on Friday 23 March 2018. Fine I thought. Organised money and details of what I wanted, I.e. Buildings insurance for my beautiful home owned since September 2017, contents insurance to the replacement tune of around 100,00.00 to cover my gold collection etc. Oh and pet insurance, etc. Imagine how I felt, when I walked in, no one was available to even say hello! No reception, people talking on telephones in what were clearly private discussions, one woman was discussing a debt resulting from a cancelled Direct Debit, another was with her, no help there then. A man was discussing a home insurance review, along with discussing a mutual love of Labrador dogs. No time there either, although he did wave his hand at me and gestured towards a chair. 8 minutes later, NOT A SOUL HAD EVEN SAID HELLO, clearly SWINTON DONT NEED CLIENTS IN BEDFORD. Its been awhile since I was soooooo insulted. SWINTON you can stick your insurance, you clearly dont need new custom, I can take my money to a far moe professional insurance company.
