OK. My brothers really old DVD/CD player finally stopped working. So I went on Amazon to find a cheap replacement. But if you can figure out analog, HDMI, optical out and all that other jargon and get a cheap piece of rubbish from Taipei, good luck! I went to Michael R. Peters where Brian, an extremely helpful Technical Sales person tested my old unit. It was indeed an "end-of-life" product as we say in high-technology! I described what replacement I needed and purchased an extremely good 4K Samsung Ultra High Definition Blue Ray player. The sound from this player is superb. Unfortunately, the manufacturer (Samsung) has chosen to add "The Martian," "Independence Day" and "The Revenant" 4k UltraHD discs in the box. As any movie reviewer will know, these are some of the worst motion pictures ever made. Shame on you Samsung! But thanks to Brian at Michael R. Peters, I am now playing some really cool Quincy Jones jazz music through my Bowers and Wilkins loudspeakers. If you buy clothes, go to Claytons. If you want expertise in sound, go to Michael R. Peters. Customer service is what it's all about. Hence the FIVE STAR recomendation.
Throwback to better times with friendly and knowledgeable staff, not trying to push any sale but find out what is needed. Was a real pleasure to buy a new TV from here at a really competitive price
