Fabulous little village, had everything we needed at not unreasonable priced.
Very good campsite with great facilities for all. Field is flat and well maintained. The shop is also the village store and has more than the usual campsite shop. 100% recommended.
Great site. Had an overnight stop. It was busy but not overcrowded, plenty of space. Flat level ground, with wardens on site. Children's play area, fire-pits to hire, showers, washing-up facilities and a shop that probably stocks anything you might ever need. Family friendly.
If I could give more stars I would. oddly enough I didn't even get to stay the night and had one of my most stressful camping experiences ive ever had. Top End farm did not contribute to any of our stress and the site itself seems fab. The facilities were clean. The grass was a beautiful green and lots of it to run around. The park was great and the kids didn't want to leave but unfortunately our old and tired trailer tent decided to break beyond repair today. We got so far with the awning and spent some time putting the poles together for a giant gust of wind to lift the entire awning before we had chance to peg it down and bending and snapping the poles so severely it was honestly only good for the tip! After calling the local tip with no answer I decided to walk to the shop for a drink and have a good moan about my stupid trailer tent and tell the staff that in fact we would not be staying the night explaining that I didn't even know how do I dispose of a trailer tent! The staff could see I was upset and kindly offered to dispose of it for me! I just can't fault the place but really wanted them to have some recognition of their kindness.... please do try this place as you won't regret it. Hopefully one day we will get to try it too!
An excellent camp site, modestly priced with a fresh food farm shop attached. Good pub a mile away and splendid countryside surrounding. Delightful village church a half mile off, also close to the site of RAF Little Staughton home to two world war two pathfinder squadrons. In short: A top notch spot.
